Message: This store has everything you could want. They seem to specialize in ethnic products that are not usually in supermarkets. I especially like their seafood department and special teas.

Message: I failed to take any pictures because I was too excited to see my different Jamaican snacks. It is a big space but feels smaller with narrower aisles because they literally stock every good thing. The ladies at check out were kind and responsive as I asked questions. If you don't live near fairly priced Jamaican snacks and grocery, and you happen to be in Newark, go here. I was pretty pleased with my grocery haul. They also seem to run specials on different items at different times.

Message: Joes is a Carribean/Asian market. Mostly Carribean actually. I go here for coconuts and saltfish and $5 bags of whiting filets and honey ginger tea and ginseng and sometimes cocoa butter. You can find a bunch of Jamaican breads and a few herbs and yams and ginger here though for sure. Tropical things. They also have inexpensive plants sometimes but not all the time. Don’t look for chips or regular snacks or typical junk food they don’t have that here. They do have a great nut selection. Home-made trail mixes are great too.
